Tuesday

Tuesday came to us from the emergency clinic. She had been hit by a car and her owners did not come to save her.She was diagnosed with a broken hip, a broken leg and worst of all, a broken back. After her surgery performed by Dr. Henry Bianucci, who we like to call “the miracle worker”, Tuesday had a body cast and months of recovery ahead of her.

We made her as comfortable as possible at the rescue. Every 2 hours we had to turn her, she had a catheter, meds needed to be given every couple of hours and it was a challenge to care for her during this recovery period. A challenge we were more then happy to do.

Tuesday is now a member of our family and needless to say she is spoiled rotten!
