Monty

Monty was only 10 weeks old when he was picked up by Goose Creek Animal Control and brought to the DWSPCA Shelter. A total of four dogs came from the same breeder on September 23, 2005

These atrocious breeders ignored his huge gaping wounds filled with a Staph infection. He was emaciated and in overall horrible health.

He began his recovery being rushed to the emergency clinic for the night and the following morning Dr. Bianucci performed surgery to repair his leg. He was an angel throughout his ordeal.

On January 21, 2006 Monty began his new life with a wonderful family. He was delighted with his toys and his new comforter

He discovered the kitchen full of wonderful treats all for him.

He watched as his new dad finished the fencing in his new beautiful back yard.

Monty went to dad for some extra TLC.

As his new mom gave him a treat, I imagine Monty felt safe, loved and home at last!

The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated.
