We got a call from our local ER. They had a Dane who needed us.

Macy Grey was a bag of bones. She had a pellet in her upper thigh...

and a hip that was obviously broken and left to heal without medical intervention.

After getting her to a safe weight it was time for surgery on her hip.

For the first time in a very long time, Macy could use her leg without all the pain she became accustomed to. Now all she needed was a home. (see below)
