Journey

We were called to Givhan’s S.C. one day to rescue a beautiful male Dane that was “dropped” off in a rural neighborhood to fend for himself. Every day for a week we set traps and staked out the area. This boy would come within 10 feet and run from us out of fear. His health became an issue with each passing day.

One day with the help of DWSPCA we were successful, all of us could see the relief in his eyes. He knew he was finally safe.

We called him “Journey” because of the long trip each day to where he was located. Journey was emaciated and ridden with fleas and ticks

Lucky for Journey, we had the perfect family waiting to welcome him into their home.

He had a tall, slender beauty named Lil Foot who was to be his four legged sister.

Then one day, Journey became the big brother of a beautiful 2 legged sister named Macayla.

Journey and Macayla are inseparable.

This family photo was taken before Journey was to embark on the biggest trip of his life!

First, he experienced snow...

And now he lives in Hawaii! Aloha Journey, we certainly named you appropriately!

UPDATE!

Journey, his sister Lil Foot and dad enjoy a day at the beach in Hawaii.
