India

The day we got India she was flea ridden, emaciated, her breasts were engorged with milk and she looked like a beaten spirit. India was bred 4 times in 3 years by unscrupulous people. They made thousands of dollars on her and never spent one penny on a heartworm pill. She tested heavy heartworm positive, she had hookworms and whipworms, tapeworms and sarcoptic mange. India is a perfect example of why you should never buy from a breeder unless you investigate their reputation. They will breed a dog to death out of greed. India was bred 3 times by one breeder and given away to a person who bred her again and even beat her. India came to us with Dharma, her daughter from 2004 and a new litter of 11 day old puppies from April 2005, all in deplorable condition.

2 weeks after she came, India showed signs of improvement

India is a beautiful, sweet and obedient lady! She is waiting to go through heartworm treatment but has thrived under our love and care. This picture was taken 2 months after she came to us. Look at the smile on her face!
