Ginger and China's Success Story

Frankie was our first cat rescue in 2001. We decided our daughter would make the perfect home for this beautiful boy.

Twice a chained dog, China found herself chained, abandoned and hungry in 20 degree weather. Life was not looking good for her until we were contacted to do an emergency rescue. Now we needed a good home for her.

As luck would have it, our daughter and her fiancée’ opened their hearts and home to give China the life she deserved.

Then one day, an emaciated, heavy heartworm positive puppy was dropped off on our driveway. Our daughter and her fiancée agreed to keep Ginger throughout her heartworm treatment and recovery.

It wasn’t long before we heard from Andrea and Guido...They were keeping Ginger, she had become part of their family and they could not part with her.

China and Ginger enjoy playing by the pool.

All three “kids” love family time.

No longer being an only child, Frankie has finally accepted his fate of a large family.

Ginger and China are two happy and healthy albeit spoiled little girls!

With chains, hunger and abandonment things of the past, the girls fall asleep in each others arms. Sweet dreams for sweet girls!
