Dharma’s Success Story

Dharma came to us at on April 23, 2005. She was a sad, sad girl. Dharma tested heavy heartworm positive, she had hookworms and whipworms. Her ribs were showing from hunger and her spirit was broken.

Her body had open wounds and was ravaged with sarcoptic mange.

In 30 days we noticed a big change in her. She was happy and gave us a big smile which she has had ever since!

On April 8, 2006 Dharma was brought to her new home in Lexington, S.C. Dharma is shown here playing with her “little” brother Murray.

Murray and Dharma get a tour of the neighborhood by “mom”.

Dharma and Murray gang up on mom.

After all this fun and excitement Dharma has to stop for a drink!

Cuddling up with dad will always be a pleasant way to spend the night.

When she got some of her new toys we saw that famous “Dharma” smile

But all of us at the rescue agree that in the year we had the privilege to know Dharma, her smile was never bigger or brighter than the minute she posed for this family picture!
