Dharma

Dharma came to us at 14 months old. She was a sad, sad girl. Dharma tested heavy heartworm positive, she had hookworms and whipworms, she was flea ridden and very hungry and she was ravaged by sarcoptic mange. She is the daughter of India and never had a chance at happiness until we got her.

Dharma is now a happy girl. Her coat is beautiful and she will never be hungry again. Unfortunately she still has to go through heartworm treatment but we are sure she will make it through it and then we can find her a happy, forever home!

The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated.

-Mahatma Gandhi (1869-1948)
