Bigalo, Goofy, Daisy, & Oprah

In 2002 Bigalo “Big” was thrown in a local shelter by ignorant owners. He is a Great Dane/Siberian Husky with the bluest eyes we have ever seen. After rescuing him he went to a foster home. Well, lucky for him the family could not part with him and he has been spoiled every day since!

Goofy was 9 years old when he was taken away from his owners for neglect in 2003. He lived 2 years with Bigalo, Babe and this wonderful family before he passed. It takes special people to open up their home and hearts to a senior. They tell us that the experience with Goofy brought them a lifetime of joy.

Daisy was brought into a local shelter in 2005. She was the victim of abuse.

Well, we knew that we had a perfect family for her and when they came to the rescue to “look” at our newest dogs, they left with our beautiful Daisy. She lived her final months being loved and pampered. Daisy passed away in January 2006 but her beautiful spirit will never be forgotten.

Oprah, far left, was one of six puppies we rescued at 11 days old.

We watched her grow for 10 months

In February, 2006 we had a visit from our old friends. They fell in love with Oprah and took her to her forever home. As you can see Oprah gets plenty of kisses from Jess, her 2-legged sister.

Oprah shows her dad she has learned to shake his hand!

Oprah gives mom a special Dane hug as Big watches his new sister

Babe, Big and Oprah show us how they spend a lazy Sunday afternoon. What a beautiful family!
