Banner

Banner (left) and his sister Sophia (right) came to us from Anderson, S.C. They were taken away from a family for abuse. Both were starved , their paws were raw and bleeding, their body covered in sores. You can see their broken spirit in this picture.

One month later both siblings were happy, gaining weight and feeling safe at the rescue! Isn’t it amazing what 30 days and some love can do?

After meeting Banner, this family fell in love with him and couldn’t wait to bring him to his new home in Georgia.

Banner loves lounging on the couch with his three beautiful sisters

His older sister always gives him big, bear hugs.

His middle sister likes to cuddle with him on the couch.

Banner’s baby sister stretched her arm to touch him when they first met and to this day she reaches for him if he is anywhere in sight.

This family was all Banner ever wanted for Christmas!

Banner is the star of his neighborhood, the heart of his family and a friend to all!

Update!

Banner dressed in drag for Halloween and went trick or treating with his sisters!

The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated.
