Great Dane Rescue of South Carolina

Requirements

You must own your home
You must have a fenced-in yard
You must be financially able to care for a Dane (approx. $80.00 per month per Dane)
You must be at least 30
We do not adopt to families with children under the age of 6
We do not adopt outside a 60 mile range
All animals in your home must be spayed or neutered prior to adopting a Dane
You must have veterinary references
You must fill out an application and be approved
You must agree to an initial home visit
You must sign a contract at the time of adoption
You must pay an adoption fee
a DNA sample (JUST KIDDING!)
There are always exceptions to the rules:
e.g. You have a child under the age of six but they have been around large dogs...

Dane Adoption Fees are as follows:
Under 1 year old $350
1-5 years old $300
Over 5 years old $250
Adoptions Include: up to date on shots, spay/neuter & microchip
