We went to an emergency call in Goose Creek in the summer of ‘07 where a beautiful girl we call Amber was being abandoned in a home during one of the hottest days of the year. Her family had kept her outside but when they were moving they decided to throw her in the house with no AC and take off.
This beautiful house was soon to be Amber’s forever home.
Her new mom gives her plenty of hugs.
Her dad gives her plenty of kisses...
Her handsome brother Cole gives her companionship, a playmate and at times even a place to rest her head!
She has every toy a girl could want.
Cole and Amber enjoy naps on their comfy beds.
Swimming is a favorite pastime for this duo.
I know as Amber falls asleep each night she is thinking “There is no place like home”!
