Sadie & Rosie's

SUCCESS STORY!!

As a rescue we have seen many animals and we have loved them all. Sadie and Rosie were two of the first rescues we took in where the word “rescue” truly came into play. Because Sadie and Rosie were with us for over 2 years we were very emotionally attached to these girls. It was going to take a special home with fantastic references and outstanding character to adopt these girls from us. As luck would have it we found everything we could have dreamed of for Sadie and Rosie and a lot more!
Look in rescue stories to learn about the beginning of their journey.

Bob and Pam have rescued and treated horses in need so it should have come as no surprise that one day, 6 months earlier, they saw 2 Great Danes at PetSmart who needed a home together, and they were willing to open their hearts and home to Sadie and Rosie.

Shortly after they had completed building their home we got a call saying “bring the girls”!

Some of their family members were going to be larger then themselves!

Duncan and Tucker are two handsome Lab brothers and off playing are Bo, a beautiful black lab and Bailey, a chocolate beauty. Imagine four new brothers to play with!

Bailey, Bo and Duncan join Rosie for some fun in the sun.

Bob has plenty of “help” with all the daily chores.

Sadie decides to relax and let Duncan manage the troops.

I think Sadie stole brother Bo’s bone again!

Rosie claims dad’s lap, as Sadie, Duncan and Bailey wait for dad to get finished with his call.

We counted 13 dog beds in their new home but Rosie seems to think that mom and dad’s bed can be hers for a while. She does look like a princess on it, doesn’t she?

Rosie and Sadie enjoy an afternoon nap.

The days of therapy, crates and operations are a distant memory to these girls. Sadie and Rosie are enjoying the American dream, a beautiful home and a loving family. Great Dane Rescue of S.C. would like to say thanks to Bob, Pam and the “Lab” four for making two girls very happy!
