Mukai
Mukai is 2 years old and a very gentle boy. He loves to take rides and be near his human. Mukai loves to chase a ball and has a wonderful personality. Mukai needs an experienced and informed owner who can take him through his shy intro’s to people. He had rough beginnings and you can read about his rescue story here.
Cleo
Cleo is a beautiful blue Great Dane. She is obedient and walks well on lead. Cleo loves attention and gets along well with other dogs. Cleo needs a family with adult children only as she can be skittish around active small kids.
Riley
Riley is a 3 year old beautiful Harlequin. He has a great personality and beautiful blue eyes. He loves to play and is friendly with other dogs.
Otis
Otis is a 7 month old black Great Dane puppy. He is a happy boy. Otis gets along great with the other dogs. He loves to run and play with his friends. Otis is new to the rescue and needs to be neutered before adoption.
Phoebe
Phoebe is a 2 1/2 year old Great Dane. She is a petite size and perfect for the family that wants all the love but not all the size! She has a great personality and loves to play with her toys and take walks. Phoebe is good in public and in the house...she just wants her 'forever' family now. We call Phoebe our little “love bug”! We have been working with her and she is great in the house, and sits on command now... it only took patience, she's a smart girl and we feel she can learn anything! Bob
Bob is approximately 3 years old. He was found as a stray in the North Carolina shore area full of sores and emaciated.. He is heartworm positive and has a few health issues we need to address before adoption. We need sponsors for Bob so if you can find it in your heart to help him, please e-mail us from our contact page. Bob has obviously never had a chance at a happy home but our dream will be to find him a perfect family. He is playful, fun, very loving and gentle.
Apollo
Apollo is a 1 1/2 year old Harlequin Great Dane puppy. He is the brother to Daisy. Apollo has a sweet personality and is a loving boy. If you are interested in him please fill out the online application.
Sirius Lee
Sirius Lee is a beautiful 3 1/2 year old black Great Dane. He was in 3 homes, a shelter and then brought to us within one months time. Sirius loves to play with balls, he is an active, fun-loving boy who wants to be part of a wonderful family. Sirius is a bit shy when he meets new people, so his prospective family would have to be able to visit him at the rescue several times before adoption. Once he gets to know you, he will be attached to you at the hip forever!

Gracie
Gracie is a 4 ½ yr. old Dane who lived through some horrible treatment. You can read about her rescue story here. Gracie is an angel. She has a great personality, gets along well with other dogs, kids and adults, she is housetrained and well-behaved. Gracie needs a home that will make a lifetime commitment to her. Dylan is her son and depends on her.
Update!
Gracie is no longer up for adoption. She has been diagnosed with cancer in her nose, mouth and backside. She has only been given a few months to live. We have set her up in an outdoor area where she has free roam to lay in the grass and sun...her favorite things. Sad day for us and for Dylan, but she is still a happy girl and we'll make sure she stays that way.
Dylan

Dylan is 2 yr. old beautiful black Dane, you can read about his rescue story here. He is a very special boy and had never been touched by human hands until he was captured on a catch stick brought to a shelter and then delivered to us. It took him quite a while to trust us and he has come a very long way. He will need a family that has experience with shy dogs or is willing to learn. Now that Gracie has cancer...we will not adopt him at this time...we don't want to stress Gracie in these next few months. Will update as conditions change for our boy.
Annie
Annie has been living at this rescue for over 4 years. Because she is a Dane mix, she is often overlooked. Her personality is fun-loving, she walks well on a leash, loves kids and people and will be the perfect addition to the right family. Annie enjoys water and will play in her baby pool on every warm day. She is a Queen Bee and should be placed with a submissive male or be an only pet. Annie is full of love and is waiting for someone to find out how special she really is!
Suzi
Suzi is a 1 1/2 year old black Great Dane/Lab. She is a friendly girl, very social with the other animals and she has a wonderful personality. Suzi will be up for adoption after she is spayed.
Zappa
Zappa is a new resident here. We think he is a Boxer/Dane or a Boxer/Dal mix. He has the greatest personality and is a friendly boy. He is very playful and entertaining. A great addition to any household ready for his antics! If you want a funny, smart & playful companion he might be a match for you...fill in the online application.
Lilly
Lilly is a small lab mix weighing 40 lbs.She is spayed and up to date on her shots. Her birthday is 9/22/05, so she is a young girl! She loves water, running, playing with every toy in the toy box. She wrestles gently with Mickey, a beautiful rescued Mantle Merle Dane that is in her foster home. Lilly is very smart and has learned all basic obedience commands and heels on leash. She has also learned to speak and roll over. She loves to snuggle in bed with her Dane brothers and foster parents. Lilly's only flaw.... she dislikes cats.
