Precious
Here is our newest girl! She is a beautiful 3 year old Harlequin. She had an abusive past and is very shy. In the last 4 days since her arrival, she has shown us much love and increased trust. We cannot wait to see her progress as she gains weight and becomes comfortable with her new surroundings. She is not ready for adoption but will be shortly. Suzi
Suzi is a 2 1/2 year old Great Dane/Lab. She has an amazing personality. Suzi loves car rides and walks, she loves playing with her toys and has been known to sneak toys from the other dogs and bring them to her special hiding place! She is well-behaved and is
going to make an amazing addition to some lucky family.
Scooby
Scooby is a 1 1/2 year old merle Great Dane. This is a friendly, loving boy who keeps all of us laughing at the rescue. Scooby loves to play and gets along well with the other dogs. He loves to take car rides and go on walks. He is a petite boy with a huge heart. If you are interested in Scooby please fill out the on-line application. Nixon
Meet Nixon! He is about 1 1/2 years old. This is a lover boy, great with kids, other dogs and adults.
He came to us as a pure blooded Dane even though he may have some mix in him.
This boy just had surgery for a Luxated Patella (disjointed knee). He is doing great in recovery at his foster home. We think he may have endured this pain for most of his life and all of us are excited to see him run and play free of any discomfort.
Nixon is also a medical phenomena. He has two organs that are doubled. It does not interfere in any way with his heath, he is a healthy, loving great boy waiting for his forever home.
Izzie
Isabelle “Izzie” is a 2 1/2 year old black Great Dane. She is fully housetrained and has wonderful house manners. She is great with people and most other dogs. She loves long walks and car rides.
Izzie is afraid of fireworks, thunder and gun fire. She is fine as long as she is near her family when this occurs. Izzie has one main problem. She is a fence jumper. She can clear a privacy fence while you are watching her. She has been placed in two homes and both have surrendered her for her fence jumping but both will tell you how wonderful she is otherwise. They felt they could not keep her safe.
We think it may be best if Izzie is placed in a home that walks her on her leash for her exercise and not put her in the yard. A condo or apartment owner may be the answer for her and the perfect match for some lucky family!
Usher
Usher is a 1 1/2 year old Dane mix. He is a friendly boy with a lot of energy. He has a fascination with any toy ball and we always keep plenty just for him! Usher has plenty of doggie friends here and seems to get along well with everybody. He needs an active home with owners who will continue his training. Mona
Mona Lisa is a 2 1/2 year old Great Dane mix. She loves to play and go on car rides. Like most Great Danes she thinks she is a lap dog! Mona has a wonderful, vibrant personality. She has been at the rescue for two years, being passed over time and again because she is a mix. Mona Lisa is an alpha female so we are looking for a home with a submissive male. She loves to hide her toys and sometimes even steals other dogs toys and hoards them! If you can give Mona Lisa a special place in your heart and home please fill out the the online application.
Duke & Anka
Duke is a 7 1/2 year old beautiful blue Great Dane. Anka is a 4 year old German Shepherd. They must be adopted together.
Duke has Pannus, a condition causing his immune system to attack his eyesight and must have drops in his eyes daily. There is a possibility that one day he may go blind and if that were to happen Anka will not only be his beloved sister, she will be his seeing eye dog also.
We adopted Duke 6 years ago but his dad passed away last year. We were happy to bring him back to the rescue and of course we took his sister also. They are two peas in a pod and are inseparable. They have perfect house manners. Anka loves to splash in any piddle and has fun when we are using the hose. She is a great soccer player. Duke loves his human companionship and they both love to ride in cars.
Duke is male dog aggressive so we are looking for a home that has no other dogs. These two dogs can fill any home with love, companionship and fun.

Bailey
Bailey is between 8 and 10 years old. She is a Beagle mix. The majority of her life was spent on a chain. Though she is probably considered a senior lady, Bailey acts like a youngster! She loves to run and play. She gets along well with the other dogs at the rescue and needs a family to open their hearts and home to her and give her a second chance at happiness.
